In my opinion, life is a mist of experimentation.
My parents are rigidly self-confined Jamaican immigrants who never indicated, let alone defined, what all of their rules were in service of - they weren’t particularly happy humans. To this day, I'm confused about what they have been maintaining allegiance to. To what were they clinging? My parents divorced when I was seven - and I’ve been living in the confusing, amorphous glob of existence ever since I can remember.
A microorganism with no sense of home, direction, or significant purpose. Until recently.
Some of my blog posts will be semi-factual retellings of my life experiences, opinions, and perspectives on things I ruminate over - other times, I’ll vomit out an idea I’ve barely considered. Long story short, if you read The Dream and Do Blog, you’ll get to “know” me even if you don’t know me. Another indulgence of privilege, that I don't understand much beyond the "doing."
Self-expression is the only currency that has ever mattered to me, so I share mine freely as a living example to others. Maybe, here lies the meaning.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. Enjoy the moment. Then, the day.
